Removing Camshaft Sensor (Intake Camshaft)

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

Special tool 9866 Support

• For better access in the engine compartment, use  > 9866 - support  .
• Fit support -1- instead of torque support. 
• The engine can be moved by turning the hexagon (a/f 17) to the left or right -arrows-  .

1. Remove camshaft sensor -1-  (intake camshaft).
   1. 1.1 Release electric plug connection -2-  and disconnect it.
   2. 1.2 Fold heat insulation upwards and remove screw -3-  .
   3. 1.3 Remove camshaft sensor -1-  .
