Removing Primary Catalytic Converter

1. Loosen V-band clamp -1-  .
   1. 1.1 Loosen screw -2-  and relieve tension on V-band clamp -1-  .
   2. 1.2 Carefully loosen V-band clamp -1-  from the turbocharger/catalytic converter flange using a hammer and wedge.

2. Unscrew oxygen sensors downstream of catalytic converter -1 and 2-  .

3. Remove V-band clamp -2-  .
   1. 3.1 Loosen screw -1-  and loosen and remove V-band clamp -2-  from the flange.

4. Loosen primary catalytic converter -1-  at the holder -3-  and remove it.
   1. 4.1 Loosen and unscrew screws -2-  on the holder -3-  .
   2. 4.2 Remove primary catalytic converter -1-  .
