Installing Airbag Triggering Unit

Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
Information
Transport the airbag triggering unit carefully. Do not shake the airbag triggering unit vigorously and do not drop it or let it fall.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
- Screw in and tighten nuts > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 Nm (0.3 ftlb.)
- Screw in and tighten screws > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 %
