  1. Remove strut.

    > 408619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUT

  2. Remove engine cover (design cover).

    > 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER

  3. Cylinder bank 1-4:  Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.

    Cylinder bank 5-8: Remove torque support. 

    > 103719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TORQUE SUPPORT

  4. Remove front trim panel (engine compartment) at the relevant side.

    > 700219 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)
