Installing Ignition Coils For Cylinders 1 To 4

1. Install ignition coils for cylinders 1 to 4.
   1. 1.1 Insert ignition coils -2-  and check that they are seated correctly.
   2. 1.2 Fit and tighten screws -1-  on ignition coils -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) (6.6 ftlb.) 

   3. 1.3 Loosen tie-wrap -3-  on the cable duct -4-  .

2. Secure cable duct -8-  .
   1. 2.1 Plug in and lock cable plug -5-  for intake camshaft hall sensor.
   2. 2.2 Insert and lock cable plugs -2-  for fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4.
   3. 2.3 Insert and lock cable plugs -1-  for ignition coils on cylinders 1 to 4.
   4. 2.4 Insert and lock cable plug -5-  for valve lift on intake camshaft.
   5. 2.5 Plug in and lock cable plug -6-  for fuel pressure sensor.
   6. 2.6 Insert and lock cable plug -3-  for valve lift on outlet camshaft.
   7. 2.7 Guide cable duct -8-  into the screws on the ignition coils. Check that the ground cables are fitted securely.
   8. 2.8 Tighten cable duct -8-  using nuts -7-  .

      > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) (6.6 ftlb.)

3. Install bracket for torque support -3-  and connect vent line.
   1. 3.1 Fit and tighten screws -1 and 2-  .
      1. 3.1.1 Screw securing upper part of bracket for torque support to lower part -1-  : > Tightening torque 55 Nm (40.6 ftlb.) 
      2. 3.1.2 Screw for bracket for torque support -2-  : > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 
   2. 3.2 Connect vent line -4-  on oil separator.
