Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
Remove strut.
> WM, 408619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUT (A-STRUT)
Remove engine cover (design cover).
> 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) (V6 TURBO)

Only for ignition coil for cylinders 2 and 3:
Unscrew screw -2- on the torque support bracket -4- and swivel torque support -1- upwards -arrow- .

Torque support
Disconnect ground cable -1- on the right spring strut dome.
1. 5.1 Unscrew screw -2- and route cable to the front (in direction of travel).

For vehicles with particle filter: Release differential pressure line on torque support bracket:

7.1 Loosen and unscrew screw.

Remove bracket for torque support -1- .

8.2 Press B+ cable down, guide out bracket -1- under the fuel line and guide it carefully past the spring strut dome in direction of travel.
