Installing Camshaft Controller Actuator (V6 Turbo)

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

1. Install camshaft controller actuator -1-  .
   1. 1.1  Position camshaft controller actuator -1-  .
   2. 1.2  Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening - torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

   3. 1.3 Only for camshaft controller actuator on outlet side: 
      1. 1.3.1  Position heat shield for camshaft controller actuator.
      2. 1.3.2  Screw on and tighten nuts on heat shield for camshaft controller actuator.

      > Tightening - torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

   4. 1.4  Connect and lock cable plug -2-  .

2. Only after removing camshaft controller actuator on intake side of cylinder bank 1: 

   Secure coolant hose -1-  .

   1. 2.1  Remove stoppers from line connections.
   2. 2.2  Position coolant hose -1-  .
   3. 2.3  Fit and lock quick-connecting lock -2-  .

3. For engine with particle filter: 

   Install differential pressure sensor lines -1-  with differential pressure sensor -2-  .

   1. 3.1  Position differential pressure sensor lines -1-  with differential pressure sensor -2-  .
   2. 3.2  Fit and tighten screws -5-  .

      > Tightening - torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

   3. 3.3  Connect and lock cable plug -4-  .
   4. 3.4  Screw on and tighten union nuts -3-  .

      > Tightening - torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
