Preliminary Work

  1. Unscrew drive shaft screw -1-  .

    Drive shaft screw

    1. 1.1 Pull off hub cap -2-  using > 9229/1 - puller hook. 
    2. 1.2 Loosen screw on drive shaft -1-  and get a second mechanic to press the brake at the same time.
    3. 1.3 Unscrew drive shaft screw -1-  .
  2. Remove rear brake disc.

    > 465319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BRAKE DISC - PORTION ON "REMOVING"

  3. Depending on equipment: 

    Remove coil spring or air spring bellows.

    > 427219 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING COIL SPRING - PORTION ON "REMOVING" 

    > 434319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR SUSPENSION BELLOWS - PORTION ON "REMOVING"

  4. Remove rear speed sensor.

    > 451519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SPEED SENSOR - PORTION ON "REMOVING"
