Removing Rear Drive Shaft

Do not leave drive shafts hanging from the joint stop. Hold the drive shaft or tie it up if necessary.
Information
- The help of another person is required.
- Tilt wheel bearing housing -1-
down slightly. Have another person guide the drive shaft -2-
carefully out of the wheel bearing housing.

- Lever the drive shaft -1- carefully out of the rear-axle transmission housing in -direction of arrow- , using 2 mounting levers.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure the drive shaft is held securely! In the event of certain, unfavourable tolerances, the drive shaft might slip out.
