Checking Rear-Axle Mounts

All rubber-metal mounts must be checked for damage. In the event of a fault, the mount on the opposite side must also be replaced.

Information

To replace the rubber-metal mounts, the rear axle housing must be lowered at the front or rear:

Before removing the rubber-metal mounts, mark the installation position with respect to the rear axle housing.
The rear axle housing must be lowered alternately at the front or rear.
The rear axle housing must not be lowered by more than 4 cm.
