Disconnect Battery

Information
Switch off all loads and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 metres/6 feet).
- Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
- Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution.

The battery is located in the luggage compartment under the storage floor.
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
- Switch off electrical loads.
- Remove luggage compartment floor.
- Remove collapsible wheel, if necessary.
- Lift carpet -1-
- Disengage cover -2-
and fold it forward.
Cover
- Risk of short circuit! Disconnect the ground line at the battery!
Ground line terminal clamps on battery terminal
- 7.1 Open cover -1- on the negative terminal.
- 7.2 Loosen terminal clamp -2- for the ground line from the negative terminal.
- 7.3 Insulate terminal clamp or route ground line to prevent any contact with the negative terminal!
