Removing Cylinder Head - Left Cylinder Bank

- Remove coolant pipe -1-

- 1.1 Unscrew screws for coolant pipe -2- .
- 1.2
Remove coolant pipe -1-

- 1.2.1 Replace O-rings.
- Remove coolant control valve -1-
.

- 2.1 Pull off vacuum hose -3- .
- 2.2 Unscrew screws on coolant control valve -2- .
- 2.3 Pull coolant control valve -1- off the coolant pipe -4- .
- Remove guide for oil dipstick -1-

Oil dipstick guide
- 3.1 Remove screw -2- .
- 3.2
Pull guide for oil dipstick -1-
up out of the crankcase cover.
- 3.2.1 Replace O-ring.
- Remove coolant vent line -1-

- 4.1 Remove screw -2- .
- 4.2
Pull line connection out of the cylinder head.
- 4.2.1 Replace O-ring.
- Remove coolant line -1-

Coolant line - left cylinder bank
- 5.1 Remove screw -2- .
- 5.2
Pull line connection out of the cylinder head.
- 5.2.1 Replace O-ring.
- Loosen guide rail -1-
from left cylinder head.

- 6.1 Remove screw -2- .
- Remove cylinder head -11-

Unscrew screws on cylinder head in the sequence -10 to 1-

- 7.1.1 Replace screws on cylinder head.

- 7.2.1 Replace cylinder-head gasket.

Unscrew screws on cylinder head in the sequence -10 to 1-
