Subsequent Work

Remove all staking tools.
Install stoppers on camshafts -1- .
1. 2.1 Insert stoppers on camshafts -1- .
2. 2.2 Fit and tighten screws for stoppers -1- .
  - Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Stoppers on camshafts.
Install screw plug for crankshaft -1- .
1. 3.1 Replace O-ring on screw plug for crankshaft.
2. 3.2 Position holder for vacuum reservoir -3- .
3. 3.3 Screw in new screw plug for crankshaft -1- into bore -2- and tighten it.
- Tightening torque 40 Nm (29.5 ftlb.)

Loosen engine from assembly support.
- 100113 Securing engine on assembly support (V6 Turbo)

Install vacuum reservoir -1- .

5.1 Position vacuum reservoir -1- .
5.2 Screw on and tighten nuts -3- .
- Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

5.3 Fit and tighten screws -2- .

Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Vacuum reservoir

Install left engine carrier -1- .
1. 6.1 Position left engine carrier -1- .
2. 6.2 Fit and tighten screws -2- .
  - Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

Install brake booster vacuum pump.
- 477619 Removing and installing brake booster vacuum pump
Install intake distributor centre.
- 244619 Removing and installing centre intake-air distributor
Install upper chain housing cover.
- 153319 Removing and installing upper chain housing cover (V6 Turbo)
