Test Values And Wear Limits For Macan Brake System - PSCB

Front and rear brake disc wear limit: 

  1. Read off values on the brake disc hub.

    Use > VAS 6272 - paint thickness tester  → Observe measuring prerequisites.

    1. 1.1 Wear values are lasered on the brake disc hub.
    2. 1.2 If the wear value is reached: Replace PSCB brake discs on each axle.

Pad thickness, front - > Control value 9.68 mm - 2 mm 

Pad thickness, rear - > Control value 11.3 mm - 2 mm 

Maximum lateral runout of brake disc - > Control value 0.03 mm 

Maximum lateral runout of brake disc - > Control value 0.06 mm 

Maximum lateral runout of wheel hub - > Control value 0.03 mm
