Installing Belt TENSIONER (Air-Conditioning Compressor)

Install belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -2- .

Belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor
1. 1.1 Replace screw on belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -4- .
2. 1.2 Position belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -2- and screw in new screw on belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -4- . but do not tighten yet.
3. 1.3 Check that drive belt for air-conditioning compressor -1- is fitted securely.
4. 1.4 Tension drive belt for air-conditioning compressor -1- .
5. 1.4.1 Swivel belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -2- at the Torx splines -3- anti-clockwise -Arrow- as far as it will go and keep belt tensioner for air-conditioning compressor -2- tensioned until the final tightening torque is reached.
6. 1.5 Tighten screw on tensioning device for air-conditioning compressor -4- .
  - Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
7. 1.6 Check that drive belt for air-conditioning compressor -1- is seated and tensioned correctly.
8. 1.7 Clip in cover on belt tensioner.
