Installing ATF Pan

NOTE: Dirt and contamination

Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Information

The engine must not be started if there is no ATF in the transmission.
Risk of damage to the transmission.

Fit new seal -1-

ATF-pan seal
1. 1.1 Clean sealing face on the ATF pan -2- .
2. 1.2 Insert nubs of the new seal into the ATF pan -2- .
Clean the magnetic strips -1- and check that they are fitted over the entire surface in the ATF pan.

ATF pan
1. 3.1 Clean the sealing surface on the transmission.
2. 3.2 Fit the ATF pan -1- . fit screws -2 to 16- and tighten crosswise.
  > Tightening - torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
