Removing Front Crankcase Cover

Remove air-conditioning compressor bracket -5- .

Air-conditioning compressor bracket
1. 1.1 Remove tensioning roller -3- .
  1. 1.1.1 Unscrew screw on tensioning roller -2- .
  2. 1.1.2 Remove tensioning roller -3- .
2. 1.2 Unscrew screws on air-conditioning compressor bracket -4- .
  1. 1.2.1 Replace screws.
3. 1.3 Remove air-conditioning compressor bracket -5- .
Unscrew screws on holder for change-over valve -1- and move holder -2- aside.

Remove guide tube for oil dipstick -2- .

Guide tube for oil dipstick
1. 3.1 Unscrew screw on guide tube for oil dipstick -1- .
2. 3.2 Pull guide tube for oil dipstick -2- out of the crankcase cover.
Remove crankcase cover -18- .

Crankcase cover
1. 4.1 Unscrew screws on crankcase cover -1 to 17- .
2. 4.2 Screw a screw for the crankcase cover -18- into each of the threaded bores -Arrows- by hand.
3. 4.3 Tighten screws carefully and uniformly in order to loosen the crankcase cover -18- from the bonding.
4. 4.4 Remove crankcase cover -18- and remove screws from the threaded bores -Arrows- .
