Removing Oil Spray Jet

Remove oil windage tray -1- .

Oil windage tray
1.1 Unscrew screws for oil windage tray -2 and 3- .
1. 1.1.1 Replace screws.
1.2 Remove oil windage tray -1- from cylinder block.
Information

The crankshaft must be turned only in direction of rotation of the engine.
Detach piston -1- .

Piston and connecting rod on crankshaft
1. 2.1 Turn the crankshaft until the relevant connecting rod bearing is accessible.
2. 2.2 Unscrew screws on connecting-rod bearing cap -2- .
  1. 2.2.1 Replace screws.
3. 2.3 Remove connecting-rod bearing cap -3- .
Remove oil spray jet -1- .

Oil spray jet
1. 3.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
  1. 3.1.1 Replace screw.
2. 3.2 Remove oil spray jet -1- .
Repeat procedure for all other oil spray jets being removed.
