Removing Roof Assembly (Panoramic Roof)

NOTIFICATION 

Sliding-roof frame removed/fitted incorrectly 

• Risk of damage to seats 
  1. → Fold rear seat assembly over and tilt the front-seat backrests back.

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
  2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

1. Pull water drain hoses -1-  at front and rear off the connection piece -2-  .

2. Release electric plug connection for wiring harness -1-  at the front -arrow B-  and disconnect it -arrow A-  .

3. Loosen roof assembly (panoramic roof). (Get another person to hold the roof assembly (panoramic roof) to prevent it from falling down)
   1. 3.1  Unclip wiring harness mounting.
   2. 3.2  Unscrew screws -1-  on the side consoles -2-  .

   3. 3.3  Unscrew screws -3-  for the roof assembly (panoramic roof) from back to front.

   4. 3.4  Lower the roof assembly (panoramic roof) with the help of another person and pull it out of the passenger compartment through the rear lid.
