NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

  → Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing electrical load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

Disconnecting electric plug connections: 

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  for seat-adjustment motor.

14. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -9-  for control unit for memory seat adjustment (three connectors).

15. Unscrew fastening screw on bracket for control unit for memory seat adjustment and seat-surface extension and remove bracket from the catches on the seat frame.

16. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -10-  for motor for seat fore-and-aft adjustment.
