Removing Front Roof Console

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Unclip cover for front roof console -arrow-  .

2. Unclip front roof console at the two side cut-outs -arrows A-  and swivel it downwards -arrow B-  .

3. Lift off front roof console by pulling it to the rear.

4. Disconnect electric wire harness.

1. 4.1 Release electric plug connections -arrows a-  and pull them off -arrows B-  .
2. 4.2 Unclip fixing clip for electric wire harness -arrow C-  .
