Installing Dashboard

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

Dashboard holder

1. 1.1 Engage tabs -1-  for the dashboard -2-  in brackets -3-  on the body.
2. 1.2 Check that the dashboard is fitted correctly at the contact surfaces.
3. 1.3 Electric lines must be routed correctly and must not be kinked or crushed.
4. 1.4 Tighten screws securing dashboard to top bracket to > Tightening - torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)  .
5. 1.5 Tighten screws securing dashboard to bottom bracket to > Tightening - torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)  .
6. 1.6 Tighten screw on bracket for airbag module hand-tight.
7. 1.7 Tighten screws securing airbag module holder to mounting bracket to > Tightening - torque 4.5 Nm (3.25 ftlb.)  .
8. 1.8 Tighten holder with airbag module to the dashboard to > Tightening - torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)  .
9. 1.9 Tighten screws securing lower air guide to dashboard bracket to > Tightening - torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)  .
10. 1.10 Tighten screws securing upper air guide to dashboard bracket to > Tightening - torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)  .
