Preliminary work for measurement 5 (V8 engine)
- Remove cowl panel cover.
Refer to the appropriate service information.
- Release and disconnect connector on electric passenger compartment heater.
Electric passenger compartment heater
- Perform measurement 5.
Measurement 5 (shown as an example)
- Resistance measurement on connector at connection point for electric air conditioning compressor (female), pin 3 and electric passenger compartment heater, pin 7
Refer to the wiring diagram for the pin assignment of the connectors
- 4.1 Setpoint value < 0.5 Ohm
- Evaluating measurement 5
- 5.1 If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 7 .
- 5.2 If the measured value is outside
the tolerance range, visually inspect connectors (also on electric air-conditioning compressor) and repair if necessary.
After carrying out repairs, repeat measurement 2.
