Remove the engine.

Secure engine to assembly support.

On the relevant side:
1. 3.1 Remove camshaft actuators.
  > Refer to the appropriate service information.
2. 3.2 Remove the cylinder head cover.
  > 158219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CYLINDER HEAD COVER (V8 BITURBO)
3. 3.3 Remove cylinder heads.
  > WM, 157019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CYLINDER HEADS
Remove lower chain housing cover.
> 153319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOWER CHAIN HOUSING COVER (V8 BITURBO)
