Preliminary Work

  1. Remove front side-section trim panel.
  2. Remove footrest.

    Information 

    To prevent damage, use a suitable tool as a support during removal at accessible connection points.

  3. Unclip inner door sill trim -1-  at the front using a suitable tool -Arrows-  until the A-pillar trim panel (lower part) is accessible.

    Driver's side only: 

  4. Release lock -1-  using a suitable tool -Arrow-  and remove front lid release lever -2-  .
