Subsequent Work

  1. Position the brake -2-  air duct, screw in the fastening screw -1-  and tighten it to > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)  .

  2. Only without Sport Design:  Install front wheel covers.

    >  WM, 661919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL COVER 

  3. Install wheel housing liner front in the front bumper area.

    >  WM, 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER 

  4. Vehicles without power unit guard  Fasten front cover in the area of the front bumper and air duct brake.

    >  WM, 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY 

  5. Vehicles with power unit guard  Install power unit guard.

    > Refer to appropriate Engine article 

  6. Installing the cover on lock carrier.

    >  WM, 703919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT LOCK SUPPORT 

  7. Secure ground strap for battery.

    >  WM, 978509 - LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY 

  8. For vehicles with front assistance systems:

    Calibrate infrared camera.

    >  WM, 908019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INFRARED CAMERA 

    Calibrate front corner radar.

    >  WM, 916625 CALIBRATING FRONT CORNER RADAR 

    Calibrate Surround View camera.

    >  WM, 917225 CALIBRATING SURROUND VIEW CAMERA
