Subsequent Work

  1. Install rear retaining strip.

    > 631719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT RETAINING STRIP

  2. Installing front air guide

    > 192419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AIR GUIDE

  3. Install horn at the left and right.

    > 905019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HORN

  4. Installing headlight.

    > 941519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS

  5. Install cooling air flaps.

    > WM, 193519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (LOWER) COOLING-AIR FLAPS 

  6. Adjust distance measuring sensor.

    > 278515 ADJUSTING CONTROL UNIT FOR DISTANCE MEASURING SENSOR

    Information 

    If the component is replaced, perform adaptation using the PIWIS Tester.

  7. Perform adaptations. Follow the procedure on the Tester and comply with instructions.
    1. 7.1 Hybrid vehicles: 

      Path: Thermal management control unit → Maintenance/repairs → Teach cooling-air flaps

    2. 7.2 Non-Hybrid vehicles: 

      Path: DME control unit → Maintenance/repairs → Adaptation
