Installing Fuel Tank

Information 

Carefully guide in the fuel tank to prevent damage to both paintwork and PVC seams.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Tightening sequence for fuel tank restraining strap

   1. 1.1  Tighten screws securing fuel tank restraining straps to the body in the tightening sequence -1 to 4-  to > Torque 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.) 
   2. 1.2  Tighten screw securing fuel filler tube to holder to > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.) 
   3. 1.3  Tighten screws on protective cover to > Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3.3 ftlb.) 
   4. 1.4  Tighten nut on protective cover to > Tightening torque 2.5 Nm (1.8 ftlb.)
