Installing Sealing Ring For Transfer Box

Using pressure piece 9936

1. 1.1 Coat the external circumference on the new  transfer box sealing ring with ATF.
2. 1.2 Half-fill the space between the sealing lip and dust lip on the transfer box sealing ring with sealing grease G 052 128 A1  .
3. 1.3 Drive transfer box sealing ring -1-  in as far as it will go using > 9936 - pressure piece-2-  .

Damper

1. 3.1 Position damper -1-  .
2. 3.2 Screw in and tighten screws -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 28 Nm (20.7 ftlb.)
