  1. Remove cover for front underbody.

    > WM, 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY

  2. Allow the engine/transmission unit to cool down to room temperature (about 20° to 25° Celsius).
  3. Visually inspect the engine/transmission unit for leaks.
  4. Have new oil ready.
  5. Position collection pan and have > VAS 6563 - transmission fluid filler pump set  ready.
