If the transfer box was replaced:

1.1 Convert vibration absorber with shield -1- .

Vibration absorber and shield transfer box

1.1.1 Attach new screws -2- to > Tightening torque 28 Nm (20.7 ftlb.)

1.2 Code the transfer box and clear the fault memory.
1. 1.2.1 Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester.
2. 1.2.2 Switch on ignition
3. 1.2.3 Start diagnostics.
4. 1.2.4 In the overview , select the required all-wheel drive (PTM) control unit. Press F12 to continue.
  The message "Create Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL)?" appears. Press F11 to continue.
5. 1.2.5 Select Maintenance/repairs .
6. 1.2.6 Select Control unit replacement including transfer box . Press F12 to continue.
7. 1.2.7
  Perform procedure according to menu guidance. Read and follow the information and instructions on the Tester.
8. 1.2.8 Exit the diagnostic application. Switch off ignition. Disconnect the Tester from the vehicle.

Install rear cardan shaft.
