Installing Rubber Mounting For Final Drive (Rear)

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

  1. Align rubber mounting for final drive -1-  .

    Alignment of rubber mounting for rear final drive

    1. 1.1 Fit the new  rubber mounting for final drive -1-  on the rear axle housing -2-  and align it in such a way that the grooves -3-  on the rubber mounting for the final drive -1-  are vertical.
    2. 1.2 Mark the alignment of the rubber mounting for the final drive -1-  with colour on the rubber mounting for the final drive -1-  and rear axle housing -2-  so that it can still be traced even when the tool is fitted.
  2. Press in rubber mounting for final drive -1-  .

    T40032 and T40033 assembly fixture

    1. 2.1 Fit T40033/4 - plate -2-  on rubber mounting for final drive -1-  .
    2. 2.2 Guide T40032/5 - spindle -3-  through T40033/4 - plate -2-  and rubber mounting for final drive -1-  .
    3. 2.3 Fit T40033/7 - pressure piece -4-  and screw on nut -5-  .
    4. 2.4 Turn nut -5-  clockwise to press rubber mounting for final drive -1-  into rear axle housing.
    5. 2.5 Press rubber mounting for final drive -1-  as far as it will go into rear axle housing.
