WM, 453055 Replacing PSM Control Unit: Information

Information

The hydraulic unit forms a single unit with the control unit.

The hydraulic unit and control unit are always replaced together.

When replacing the hydraulic unit/control unit, the new assembly must be to hand before the old one is removed.

The data stored in the old control unit must be read out before removal.

Procedure

The Porsche System Tester must not be disconnected from the diagnostic socket when replacing the hydraulic unit.
Read out data from old hydraulic unit/control unit. Switch off ignition. Disconnect connector from the old hydraulic unit and connect connector to the new hydraulic unit. Switch on ignition. Transfer data.
