Installing Hydraulic Unit
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Information
- When fitting the hydraulic connections, leave electric plug connections connected to the control units for as long as possible. This prevents the electric plug connections from being splashed with brake fluid or water.
- Wipe off damp electric plug connections before disconnecting them. Use appropriate protection for electric plug connections if necessary.
- Brake fluid on electric contacts (even thinned brake fluid) causes corrosion and can result in faults in the system.
- Do not bend the brake lines in the hydraulic unit area.
- Clean connection points of the brake lines, but not with cleaning agents.
- Rinse off any brake fluid emerging thoroughly with water.
