Information
The > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3 instructions take precedence and in the event of a discrepancy these are the instructions that must be followed. Deviations can occur with later software versions.
- Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away and release the parking brake using the button in the passenger compartment.
- Select brake pad change mode using > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3

- 2.1 Select Brake electronics (PSM, incl. parking brake) in the control unit overview.
- 2.2 Drive links/checks must now be selected.
- 2.3 Select Start brake pad change mode .
- Remove brake shoes.
