Installing Spreader Device

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

If you intend to re-use the old spreader device: 

Clean the spreader device carefully without damaging the dust boots.

Tighten new screws securing spreader device to wheel bearing housing to > Initial tightening 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.)  and > Final tightening torque + 60°  .

Tighten screws on cover plate for brake disc to > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)  .
