Suspending Brake Calliper In Wheel Housing

Release and disconnect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -3- .

1. 2.1 Unscrew screw on brake line bracket -5- and move holder -4- aside.
Loosen brake calliper -1- .

1. 3.1 Unscrew screws on bake calliper -2- .
Suspend brake calliper -1- in the wheel housing.

Brake calliper in wheel housing (shown as an example)
1. 4.1 Have suitable fastening elements (e.g. tie-wraps) ready for suspending the brake calliper
2. 4.2 Secure fastening elements (e.g. tie-wraps) at a suitable position.
3. 4.3 Remove brake calliper -1- from the wheel bearing housing and secure it on the upper control arms.
  Do not suspend the brake calliper -1- on the brake pipe or on the electric line for the brake pad wear indicator.
4. 4.4 Protect brake calliper -1- with a cloth to prevent paint damage.
