Suspending Brake Calliper In Wheel Housing

Brake line bracket

1. 1.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connections -2 and 3-  .
2. 1.2  Disengage line -4-  .
3. 1.3  Unscrew screw on line bracket -5-  .
4. 1.4  Disengage retaining lug on line bracket -6-  .

Front brake calliper

1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -2-  .
2. 2.2  Unscrew screws on brake calliper -3-  .

Brake calliper in wheel housing

1. 3.1  Have suitable fastening elements (e.g. tie-wraps) ready for suspending the brake calliper -1-  .
2. 3.2  Guide fastening elements (e.g. tie-wraps) through the upper control arms.
3. 3.3  Remove brake calliper -1-  from the wheel bearing housing and secure it on the upper control arms -Arrow-  .

   Do not suspend the brake calliper -1-  on the brake line or on the electric line for the brake pad wear indicator.

4. 3.4  Protect brake calliper -1-  with a cloth to prevent paint damage.
