Subsequent Work

  1. Install brake callipers front.

    Checking brake pad thickness (shown as an example)

    • If brake pad wear is indicated by the warning light, the warning contact line must also be replaced. 
    • Replacement of the warning contact can be avoided by replacing the brake pads before a pad thickness -Arrows- of 2.5 mm is reached. 
    • Warning contacts must be replaced if the core of the wire is worn. 
    • If only the plastic part of the warning contact is worn, the warning contacts need not be replaced. 
  2. Connect warning contact -1-  to the brake pad -2-  , then connect the cable plug -3-  to the plug connection and check that it is seated securely.

  3. Fit brake pads on the brake disc by pressing the brake pedal several times until the pressure point of the brake pedal has returned to normal.
  4. Check brake fluid level and correct it if necessary.
