Test Values And Wear Limits - 20 -Inch
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Information
Two criteria governing the condition of the parts can make replacement necessary depending on the wear of PSCB brake discs:
- Formation of cracks at advanced stage on the brake disc friction surfaces.
- Minimum brake disc thickness in not retained due to wear (material erosion due to friction).
> 465002 CHECKING FRONT BREAK DESCS (PSCB)
| Location | Description | Type | Basic value | Tolerance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pad thickness, front | Wear limit 2 mm | approx. 8, 55 mm | ||
| Pad thickness, rear | Wear limit 2 mm | approx. 8.45 mm | ||
| Brake disc wear limit, front and rear | Measure using VAS 6272 test equipment. Note measuring prerequisites. Wear values are lasered on the brake disc hub. Wear value reached: Replace PSCB brake discs on each axle | Measured value | XX/XX Read off values on the brake disc hub | |
| Lateral runout of brake disc (max.) | Measured value | 0.03 mm | ||
| Lateral runout of wheel hub (max.) | Measured value | 0.03 mm | ||
