Removing ATF Cooler

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Have suitable stoppers ready for closing off the line connections.
  2. Have suitable aids ready for collecting emerging ATF.
  3. Disconnect coolant hoses -1-  .

    Coolant hoses on ATF cooler

    1. 3.1 Close off coolant hoses -1-  with hose clamp.
    2. 3.2 Loosen spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    3. 3.3 Pull coolant hoses -1-  off the ATF cooler -3-  .
    4. 3.4 Close off line connections with stoppers.
  4. Disconnect ATF lines -1-  .

    1. 4.1 Release and disconnect line connections for ATF lines -2-  .
    2. 4.2 Close off line connections using stoppers and move ATF lines -1-  aside.
  5. Remove ATF cooler -1-  .

    ATF cooler

    1. 5.1 Unscrew screws on ATF cooler -2-  .
    2. 5.2 Remove ATF cooler.
