Removing Torque Converter

Information 

• To prevent the torque converter from tilting, counter at the opposite side of the  > T40176 - extractor with your other hand when pulling it off. 
• Make sure not to damage the vent line. 

1. Remove torque converter -1-  .

   Extractor on torque converter

   1. 1.1  > T40176 - Extractor  0 -2-  must be secured with a nut -3-  on the torque converter -1-  .
   2. 1.2  Turn the torque converter -1-  so that the > T40176 - extractor-2-  is at the top.
   3. 1.3  Remove torque converter -1-  from the transmission input shaft and carefully set it down on a suitable surface.
   4. 1.4  Clean converter bell housing thoroughly, replace the leaking torque converter sealing ring if necessary. > 324755 REPLACING SEALING RING FOR TORQUE CONVERTER
