Removing Starter

Risk of squashing or crushing
1. → Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

CAUTION: Hot components

Risk of burns
1. → Let hot components cool down.
2. → Wear personal protective gear.

Disconnect starter from engine wire harness.

Electric lines for starter
1. 1.1 Secure the starter to prevent it from falling down.
2. 1.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- .
3. 1.3 Screw off nut -2- and remove B+ line -3- from the starter.
Remove starter -1- .

1. 2.1 Unscrew and remove screws -2- and -3- .
2. 2.2 Remove the starter -1- .
