Installing Drive Shaft

Replace output shaft sealing ring.
> 392255 REPLACE SEALING RING FOR HALFSHAFT FLANGE
Replace circlip -1- on the drive shaft.

Information
- Make sure not to damage the sealing ring when guiding the drive shaft into the final drive.
- Check that the profile splines on the drive shaft and transmission side interlock securely!
- The use of an impact tool is not permitted.
Fit drive shaft -1- into the final drive with a quick jerkirp movement -Arrow- .

Fitting drive shaft
Check that joint is seated correctly.
1. 4.1 Hold the joint with both hands and pull outwards.
2. 4.2 If the drive shaft can only be pulled out again using considerable force, the drive shaft is fitted correctly.
3. 4.3 Press the drive shaft back into the final drive if necessary.
