Install rear axle.
> Removing and installing rear axle
Tighten screw for front final drive -3- and screws for rear final drive -4- on rear axle housing.
Screw for front final drive:

> Initial tightening 130 Nm (96 ftlb.)

> Final tightening torque angle 180 Grad

Screws for rear final drive:

> Initial tightening 70 Nm (52 ftlb.)

> Final tightening torque angle 180 Grad

Fitting final drive
Only for vehicles with rear axle steering:
> T40326 - Staking tool must be fitted on servo motor for rear axle steering -1- .

1. 3.1 Position bolts -2- and secure with the retaining bars -3- .
Only for vehicles with rear axle steering:
Secure servo motor for rear axle steering -1- .

Servo motor for rear axle steering
1. 4.1 Tighten screws -2- .
  > Initial tightening 90 Nm (66.4 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 180°
2. 4.2 Connect and lock electric plug connection -3 and 4- .
> T40326 - Staking tool must now be removed.
Fit screw for rear drive shaft -1- .

Drive shaft screw
1. 6.1 Tighten screw for rear drive shafts -1- .
  > Initial tightening 200 Nm (147.5 ftlb.) (147.5 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 180 (133 ftlb) °
2. 6.2 Fit hub cap -2- .
Perform suspension alignment.
> Performing front + rear suspension alignment
