Removing Coolant Pipe For Additional Coolant Pump For Turbocharger

  1. Remove the coolant switching valve -1-  .

    Coolant pipe switching valve

    1. 1.1  Release retaining clip -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Loosen spring band clamp -3-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    3. 1.3  Unscrew screws on coolant pipe switching valve -4-  and pull coolant switching valve -1-  off the coolant pipe -5-  .
    4. 1.4  Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  2. Remove coolant pipe for additional coolant pump for turbocharger -1-  .

    Additional coolant pump coolant pipe

    1. 2.1  Loosen spring band clamp -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    2. 2.2  Unscrew screws -3-  and remove rails -4-  .
    3. 2.3  Pull coolant pipe for additional coolant pump for turbocharger -1-  off -5-  the coolant hose.
    4. 2.4  Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
