Remove Coolant Regulator Housing

Electric wire harnesses

1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
2. 2.2  Loosen electric wire harnesses -1-  from fastening parts -4-  .
3. 2.3  Move electric wire harnesses -1-  aside in direction of -Arrows-  .

Cable duct

1. 3.1  Unscrew screws -2-  .
2. 3.2  Press cable duct -1-  up slightly.

Left coolant hose

1. 5.1  Collect emerging coolant and close off connection openings.

Coolant pipe for coolant pump

1. 6.1  Unscrew screws -2-  .
2. 6.2  Loosen spring band clamp -3-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
3. 6.3  Disconnect coolant pipe for coolant pump -1-  and set it aside.
4. 6.4  Close off connection openings using stoppers.

Guide tube for oil dipstick

1. 7.1  Unscrew screw -2-  .
2. 7.2  Pull out guide tube for oil dipstick -1-  in direction of -Arrow-  and guide it out of the engine compartment.

Line on coolant regulator housing

1. 8.1  Loosen screw -2-  with normal clamp.

Information 

Close off the opening immediately using a suitable stopper to prevent dirt from getting in.
