Removing Pressure Pipe (On Intake-Air Distributor]

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

  1. Disconnect pressure hose -1-  from pressure pipe -2-  .

    Pressure hose on pressure pipe

    1. 1.1  Loosen screw-type clamp on pressure hose -3-  .
    2. 1.2  Pull pressure hose -1-  off pressure pipe -2-  .
    3. 1.3  Remove screw-type clamp on pressure hose -3-  and set pressure hose -1-  aside.
    4. 1.4 Only for removing left pressure pipe:  Unscrew screw on pressure pipe holder -4-  .
  2. Remove pressure pipe -1-  .

    Pressure pipe on intake-air distributor

    1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for pressure sensor -2-  .
    2. 2.2 Only for removing left pressure pipe: 

      Loosen spring band clamp -3-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .

    3. 2.3  Pull off hose -4-  .
    4. 2.4  Unscrew and remove screws -5-  .
    5. 2.5  Remove pressure pipe -1-  .
