Installing Turbocharger

- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Clean sealing faces and line connections.
- 1.2 Replace O-rings on the oil and coolant lines.
- 1.3 Replace seals and V-band clamps on the exhaust manifolds.

Tighten V-band clamps securing turbochargers to exhaust manifolds.
> Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
- 1.5
Tighten screw on retainer plate for coolant lines.
> Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- 1.6
Tighten screw for return oil pipes.
> Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- 1.7
Tighten screws for supply oil pipes.
> Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- 1.8
When replacing the turbocharger, tighten the crankcase line.
