Installing Hall-Sender Rotor

Information 

• Always check hall-sender rotor before installation. 
• The hall-sender rotor must not come into contact with a magnet. 
• If the hall-sender rotor comes close to a magnet, it must be replaced. 

1. Check condition of hall-sender rotor -1-  using tool > T10473 - test card-2-  .

   Undamaged hall-sender rotor

   1. 1.1  > T10473 - Test card-2-  must be held over the hall-sender rotor -1-  Then turn it.
   2. 1.2  An undamaged hall-sender rotor -1-  will have clearly visible continuous stripes -Arrows-  .

      Result: Hall-sender rotor -1- OK! 

2. Check "TDC marking" -Arrow-  using > T10473 - test card-2-  .

   Undamaged "TDC marking"

   1. 2.1  > T10473 - Test card-2-  must be held over the hall-sender rotor -1-  Then turn it.
   2. 2.2  An undamaged hall-sender rotor -1-  will have a dearly visible "TDC marking" -Arrow-  .

      Result: Hall-sender rotor -1- OK! 

3. Always replace a damaged hall-sender rotor.

   Damaged hall-sender rotor

   1. 3.1  If the hall-sender rotor -1-  is damaged, the stripes -Arrow-  will not be visible. Result: Hall-sender rotor -1- not OK - replace it! 
4. Only install an undamaged hall-sender rotor.
